MAGISTRATES' COURTS.
CEBISTCHTJRCH. Monday, July 20. (Before C. C. Bowen, Esq., 8.M.) DRUNK AND DISORDERLY. The following persons, arrested for this offence, were dealt with as under:—George Barry and Edward Kiug, their first offence, were discharged with a caution, as they had been locked up since Saturday. Callaghan McCarthy was also discharged, as it was hii first offence. George Stevens, against whom there had been ten previouß convictions, wai sentenced to one month's imprisonment, not with hard labour. And Michael Dolan, against whom there had been two previous convictions for drunkenness, was fined 20s or 48 hours. PAWNBROKER'S LICENSE. A pawnbroker's license was granted Henry Asher Davis, for premises in Cashel street. LYTTELTON. Monday, July 20. [Before W. Donald, Esq., R.M.] DRUNK AND EXPOSING PERSON ON RAILWAY PREMISES. Henry Williams, arrested by Constable McGorman, charged with the above offence, was fined 20s. DRUNKENNESS. Edward Cannell, arrested by Constable McGorman, lying on the footpath in London Btreet, was fined 10s. Wm. Hukley, arrested by Constable Wallace, charged with this offence, was dismissed with a caution.
