The schooner Sreamlet arrived in harbor this morning from Akaroa, The following vessels were yesterday at the various wharves:—Gladstone Pier—Ballochmyle, discharging railway plant; s.s. Ladybird, discharging and loading. Screw Pile Jetty—barque John Knox, ballasting. Lighters—Ex City of Agra, Vanina, and Dunedin (first load), discharging. Breastwork—Discharging—Canterbury, Magellan Cloud, and Wild Wave; loading—Ocean Bird. Steam Wharf—Discharging—Flirt, Kaituna, Quiver, Fratelli Gaggino. Lighterage Jetty—Discharging—Schooner Albatross, barque Lady Emma. Peacock’s Wharf Discharging—brig Fawn, schooner Spray, ketches Margaret, Alice Jane, Courier, barque Moss Glen, discharged and ballasting. SHIP HEREFORD FROM LONDON. The vessel was signalled and arrived in harbor at noon. The s.s. Taranaki spoke her outside and learnt that all was well on board. The health officer and Oomrnissioneifl went down to the vessel this afternoon.
