A barque was signalled from tho North when our express left. The ship Ballochxnyle' was berthed at the Gladstone Pier on Thursday afternoon. She ha* about 700 tons of railway iron to discharge. She will then ballast, and proceed to San Francisco to load grain. Since the vessel has been in port opportunity has been ta(«n to put her in proper trim, and now that the Immigrant fittings have been taken down, pnd the 'tween decks cleared she prepr««wst« a vastly improved appearance. She certainly is a handsome vessel, one of the finest that has come into port. She is well worthy of a visit ; her cabin accommodation is very superior, every requisite being provided. In addition to the usual cabin accommodation she lias a very large and commodious stern cabin, which is handsomely furnished. Dr Smyth, who for several voyages has brought out in different vessels large numbers of immigrants, returns in the vessel to Loudon. It is understood that the commissioners arc so well pleased with the vessel as to recommend that she shall be again taken up for immigrants on her arrival in London.
