SUPREME COURT.
CRIMINAL SESSIONS. This Day. [Before his Honor Mr Justice Gresson.] His Honor took his seat in Court at 11 a.m. sentences. John Henderson, convicted of stealing certain money, the property of his master, was brought up for sentence. His Honor sentenced the prisoner to twelve months’ imprisonment with hard labor. George Hammond, convicted of having stolen money from the dwelling house of a Maori at Akaroa was also sentenced to twelve months’ imprisonment. The Court then adjourned sine die.
