Mails close at Chief Post Office for the following places, as under, subject to necessary alterations : For Fiji, Sandwich Islands, United States, South, Central, and British America, West Indies, United Kingdom, Continent of Europe, &c, &c, via San Francisco, per s.s. City of Adelaide, on Saturday, July the 4th, at 11.15-a.m. Newspapers at 10 a.m. Money Orders may be procured and Letters Kegistered, until 5 p.m., on Friday, July 3rd inst. For Akaroa, Timaru, and Port Chalmers, per s.s. Maori, on Friday, July 3rd inst, at 11.30 a.m. For Dunedin, Bluff, Australian Colonies, India, China, Mediterranean Ports, Continent of Europe and United Kingdom, via Suez (for Letters specially addressed only), per s.B. Tararua, on Saturday, July 4th, at 11.15 a.m. For Wellington, Nelson, and Australian colonies, per s.s. Omeo, on Saturday, July '4th, at 11.30 a.m. J. J. Fitz Gibbon, Chief Powtomaster.
