Alport reports the following business at auction during the week: —On jMonday, at the Hereford sale rooms, a consignment of., brush ware and earthenware .brought a. fair attendance of buyers, and full ratea obtained. On same day, a quan-tity.-of; escort saddles, gold boxes, and other . materials,; wero disposed of. On Tuesday, at Cambridge terrace, nea? Post-office, Mr Coxhead's furniture realised fair prices. The ,attendance, was good, and biddings brisk. On Wednesday, at Carlton, good two to thtee-year-'Old steers, nearly fat, brought £5 pet head 1 . I Fat; sheep and cattle were early : bought up,,at full rates. Stores somewhat neglected. ,
