CENTRAL RAILWAY STATION.
To the Editor of the Glohe. Sir, — I am given to understand that there are petitions about the town in opposition to the removal of the present railway station. Although living in a central position, no petition has been presented to me for signature, I conclude that these petitions are only intended for parties actuaily interested. I therefore hope that the Provincial Council will act disinterestedly, and independent of all petitions. Yours, &c., A CITIZKN. Christchurch, 15th June, 1874,
