The advantage of living does not consist in length of days, but in the right improvement of them. As many days as we pass without doing some good, are so many days entirely lost. One of the finest things that Father Taylor ever said was when pleading for poor woxn-out clergymen. He said: —“They are like camels bearing precious spices and browsing on bitter herbs.”
