Globe Office, Thursday, 4p.m. Mr W. H. Hargreaves held a sale of sugars' this morning from the Yarraville Refinery, at the stores of Messrs Miles and Co., when 1547 mats were submitted. No 12—529 mats finest white crystals realised an average of £37 per ton. No 22—150 mats finest light counters averaged £35 per ton, the balance of that lot, 374 mats, being passed in. No 14 —496 mats finest bright yellow counters were passed in, but the auctioneer was in treaty for the disposal of the greater portion of this lot privately.
