An event of outstanding importance in Invercargill was the official opening hv the Mayor (Air. 3. P. Campbell) last night of a now broadcasting station erected in Invercargill by Air. R. T. Parsons. This station -will he known as 4ZP, and the highly successful opening augurs well for the future, and must have convinced the enterprising owner that hrs unsparing efforts and large expenditure have not- been in vain. The now station is cianned to he the most modern of the B mass stations in New Zealand, and is being run on the same system as the larger A" .stations.
