Prince Alnin Jan, ox-King AmanulJah's brother, and Sardar Odoul Hakim Kalin, a former Afghan trade agent in Peshawar, were dramatically arrested at Peshawar by tliie Government ol' India on the eve of crossing the frontier to raise, the Shinwari tribesmen against the present king Nadirkhan in favor of Ainannllah’s brother. The time chosen for the revolt was most opportune. ns Kabul at present is eiperiencing tfite worst winter for thirty years, yesterday’s temperature being twenty below zero, and heavy snowfalls rendering impossible* the movement of troops to Jalalabak, the stronghold of the Sliinwaris.
