SUCCESS OF OPOTIKI VISITORS. (Special To Tlio Tmwaj. OPOTIKI, Feb. 7. The annual show was held at Taneutua on 'Wednesday. Over 2000 people were present, the gate takings being .0100, which is only £lO below the record. Rain in the morning at Tauranga and Opotiki, no doubt, kept many away. There were between TOO and -100 motor cars round the ring. A splendid display of all classes of live stock was made, the grand parade being an imposing feature. Opotiki competitors in the horse events met with a large amount of success, as did those in the needlework classes, Misse. L. and M. Reece. Mil- Jephson sent over pigs for the iirst lims and brought home three first prize tickets, besides several seconds. In the ring competitions the following results show how successful Messrs M. 11.
