Copyright LONDON, Feb. 0 The fact that an office cleaner at the Inlaid Revenue Department is a keen stamp collector _ brought to light, a missing link in Tasmania’s philatelic history. Among the liter in some waste paper the cleaner discovered an aged, discolored letter with a. sketch stamp. He took it to the vice-president of the Royal Philatelic Society, who identified it as tlio design of Tasmania’s first Lon-don-printed stamp, sent by tlio Governor of Tasmania, in 180.3 to the Colonial Secretary, the Duke of Noncastle.
