GISBORNE CLUB. The weekly meeting of the Gisborne Amateur Athletic and Harriot (. lull was held last evening. Mr. AY. .Jenkins was in the chair. R, was decided to forward letters of thank s to Messrs. R. Smith, A Denham. A. Cassia, C-. Greig and A. Menzies, gatekeepers at the SubCentro championships on February ] ; to Mr. H. Stubbs, for the loan of a table, ('hairs, etc. ; and to Air B. II .Aislabie and Mr. R. J- Kerridge, for assistance with advertising. A hearty vote of thanks was also passed to I.lie Press. The programme for the evening meeting on February 14 was appioved as under; 75yds men’s handicap, 320yds ladies (final Norma AVilson Cup), 44(jyds fiat (Dr. Muir’ s trophy),’ 3 miles cycle handicap, hop. step and jump handicap, ladies’ broad jump (Swan trophy). The Selection Committee were empowered to choose a team to contest the Dinwiddie "Walker Shield to he held in Napier on- March 1.
