1 DENTIFf CATION OF BODY. TRACED 15 V A .RING. LONDON, Jan. Li. After a silence of nearly fourteen rears. Mr. Charles Hankie. residing at Heath, Bedfordshire, has been officially informed ol the finding and identification of the body of his eldest .son, Frederick, who was reported missing alter Ins first engagement with the Australian contingent on August 5. 19l<>. Identification was possible owing to a gold finger ring engraved “Lil-ian-Free}” from his (Oncer, a Brisbane girl , whose photograph anil letters were _ also recovered. Air. Hankin’s other son joined the English army and was posted as mission- after the German offensive of March. 1918.
