TIM ARE SUPREME COURT (Trees Association.) TLUA.HU. Feb. 6. At the Supreme Court to-day. •James Charles Allirev was found not guilty of a charge of indecent assault on a girl under sixteen at Tetnuka on November 14, but guilty ol common assault. The jury recommended leniency and accused was orilcred to come up I’m: sentence il called on within twelve months. Walter Keen, for the theft of £l3l while an employee of the South Canterbury Power Board at Waim.ute, was admitted to probation, for three years, prohibited for that period and ordered to pay costs of the prosecution and make restitution of the amount as directed by the probation officer.
