Troup; Mayor of Wellington. will preside. At 7.30 from ST A there will be a l’evies' of the January issue of the Journal of Agriculture. All excellent concert programme with liunioious and classical numbers, be presented at S o'clock Airs. Elsie Sharp (mezzo-soprano), who has previously delighted radio listeners will be singing again. Miss Nano}' Powden (contralto' 1 will sing “The Linden Tree,” “Sapphic. Ode” and “Like to the Damask Rose.” Air. Harold Prescott (tenor) and Mr. Leslie Fleming (baritone) will also he singing. Air, Prescott’s items ‘‘Seremita.” and Sullivan’s “Once Again,” There will .he , recitations by Airs. Marion The' select 'oils to be played bv the Studio Octet under Air. Harold Beck j will include “Remembrances of . Brahms' and Massenet's *'Scenes 'Pittofesques.”.
