JUMPED FROM GRAFTON BRIDGE. MAN FATALEY JxVJURFD. (Press Association.) AUCKLAND, Feb. 4. After crawling over the parapet of Grafton bridge so casually that two men tatiding nearby thought lie was a workman engaged in repairs, Lleyellyu Mavson, of Karangahape. Waihi, lmrled himself over ICOit. t«> the gully below. Although lie received terrible injuries, lie was coiise:ous when others reached him. He died later. SEPTUAGENARIAN’S SUDDEN DEATH.

At 2.bU this afternoon James Frame of Herbert, who was <2 tears of age, was iouiid dead alongside his horse, in a paddock where he had been working among the turnips. There were some slight abrasions on the forehead, nose and left cheek, which, in the opinion of the doctor, were not due to a ki'L from tlie horse, but the deceased having fallen on his face on the rough ciods. Death was due lo heart failure.
