- “THE TRANSCONTINENTAL LIMITED.” SPECIAL MATINEE TO-DAY. There is an old-fashioned melodrama, yet with a new kind of a plot, being shown at Everybody’s at the special matinee to-day and again tonight. It is the new Chadwick Production, “The Transcontinental Limited.” How an melodrama can be combined with a new idea is shown in this most admirable production. It is the story of an old engineer and his wife in whose lives the wreck of the Transcontinental plays a most important part. The story is of an average family living in an average sized town. The speed and action of the seething, roaring train as it dashes madly to its doom is bound to keep the most hardened movie fan full of enthusiasm. The love storv of the charming daughter of the old couple gives adds interest to the production. Alec B. Francis takes the role of the engineer and Edith Yorko that of his wife. Their charming daughter, whose part is taken by Eugenia Gilbert, is wooed and won by the speedy end breezy Johnnie Walker. The important part which the train takes in the ultimate happiness of the characters gives the story a most unusual plot. In addition the best of supports will he shown.
