SUICIDE THROUGH DEPRESSION
WELLINGTON, Jam 27. A t an inquest to-day concerning the death of Francis Barclay, 61 years, single who was found hanging in a room in Wilton Street, Wadestowu, the Coroner, Mr E. Page, S.M., returned a verdict of suicide while depressed. A recent attack of influenza furthered lowered the vitality of deceased. He had been in indifferent health for some years and was al"•ays imagining different- ailments. He left a note stating: “I am tired of struggling against my troubles, 't is little use continuing the hopeless struggle I have before me, only rid age poverty and ill-health.’ P.A.
