LONDON WOOL SALES. MERINOS PREDOMINATE. LONDON, Jan, 24. At the wool sales the selection comprised chiefly merinos suitable for the Continent, a large proportion being speculators’ wools. Other sorts were in small supply. Competition continues keen, the prices being fully as firm as those obtained at the opening of the series. New Zealand clips: Pare T7d top, 1-5 Jcl average; Waipaoa 17Jd and 16kl.
