SCOPE OF INQUIRY EXTENDED. (Received Nov. G. 8.40 p.m.) SYDNEY, Nov. 6. Terms of reference of the Commission of Inquiry into the alleged civic graft charges, have been extended to cover questions, whether there was ony conspiracy, agreement or proposal, corruptly to obtain money, or any interference with the purity of the administration in connection with the re-grading of the street adjacent to the Country Producers Company’s new store, also regarding ihe second case relating to the treetint of the petrel measure. The Commission will inquire generally into the a rduct of any alderman, official or. pesrou connected with these matters.—U.P.A.
