BOOKS HANDED OYER BY RUSE
LONDON, Nov. 4. Three unknown men rushed breathless into the lodgings of Mr Hughes, leader of the Liverpool Communists, saying Hughes had been arrested. They demanded the secret books and papers to prevent their falling into the hands of the police, who were following on their heels. The housekeeper unsuspectingly- • permitted their removal. Mr Hughes lias appealed to the police for their recovery.—Sun.
