COULD BE BEATEN BY HEFTY MO RBY 1N G FOR M A RDo.
LONDON, Nov. 3. Although the miserable weather conditions scarcely allowed __ an accurate summing up of the New Zealanders’ real abilities against a representative side, correspondents who journeyed to Dublin .appear to have, come to the conclusion that it is quite possible to rattle the All Blacks, and that hefty worrying forwards. supported hv skilful hacks, can beat them. Several prominent critics contend that England would have beaten Ireland by a bigger margin. The Athletic News gives prominence to the fact that the game revealed the New Zealanders’ adaptability. Henceforward, it says, we hesitate to assume that heavy grounds and a wo hall are equivalent- to a serious handicap to the visitors. They by no means are onlv fine weather players. —A. and N.Z.C.A.
