OUTBREAK AT FOXTO-N. FOXTON, Nov. 3. A fire broke out at* Ryder’ s hoot shop early yesterday morning, doing considerable damage to Die stock and fittings. The smoke. penetrated the upstairs rooms of Whyte’s hotel, ju the same block, filling the couidois and bedrooms, and causing alarm to the inmates. The brigade made a goon save, owing to .she cowrote building. The fire was confined .0 Urn shop. Ryder’s stock was insured for £3OOO in the Atlas ofhie.
ATTEMPT TO BURN SUNDAY SCHOOL. NEW PLYMOUTH, Nov. 3. A deliberate attempt to burn tie new Anglican Sunday school bui cmg was frustrated last night. About seven o’clock a girl living nearby saw a blaze and found a sack of shnvmgs burniiw against the back ooor ot the school She extinguished the fire and gave information but no cine has yet been discovered. The buildup 'had only just been completed and - was to be opened this week.
WAREHOUSE DESTROYED. SYDNEY, Nov. 3. Duriim the early hours of this morning the four-stoned warehouse of the -Edison Swan Electric Company of Clarence Street, was burnt out' The fire was not detected tdl it extended almost through the ouilding.
