The telegraphic chess match between Gisborne and le Arolui has been arranged for this evening, play to commence at 6.30 sharp. Reserve players for Gisborne : Somervell, Gardner, Fischback and Stichbury. Umpires: Messrs F. J. Rowley and C. lv. Smytlre. Air F. L. Konriek will represent Gisborne at Te Aroha. All tlie local representatives are requested to he at the Farmers’ Union office at 6.15 p.m.
