PALACE THEATRE.
LAST NIGHT OF “WOMAN WAKE UP” AND “BLUE BLAZES.” Tho big holiday programme now showing at the Palace Theatre will be screened at that favorite picture resort for the last time to-night. The star attractions are Florence Vidor in the delightful society comedy drama of young married life, “Woman Wake Up,” and Lester Cunee in the sensational and spectacular picture of New York and Western life, ‘Blue Blazes.’ A super supporting programme is. added.
To-morrow, commencing at the matinee, another prodigious pregrame will be screened, when the sensational Paramount picture, “West of the AVafcer Tower,” starring Glenn Hunter
May MeAvoy, Ernest Torrance. Zazu Pitts, and George Fawcett, will be one of the big productions; and “Love of AVomcn” with Helene Chadwicik in the stellar role, a dashing, glorious romance of marriage and divorce in high society circles will also be shown. The supporting programme will include another of the popular Joe Rock, farciaj comedies, “The Sleep AYulker.” The Paramount News, and the latest Burton Travel film. “West of the Water Tower” is sensational and emotional and a romance of true love. It is dramatised from the most discussed book of the year, with: its glowing expose of modern hypocritical life, and it is daringly pictured on the' screen. Tho big story of reclc’ess love and tho consequences, tears, away the cover from life arid the acting of the story makes it one that will cling to the memory. “Love of AVomen” is a special, throbbing with human emotions and dealing with one of the most vital questions of the day—divorce. The picture strikes a responsive chord in the hearts of every woman, every man and child. While being sweet with sentiment, it is forcible with an exquisite charm, and lias an ending that comes as n cvclonic surprise. The plan is at Aluir’s.
