VICTIM OF MENTAL DEPRESSION. HAMILTON, Oct. 29. At the inquest on Charles Frederick Bond, a prominent business man, who was found dead alongside a gas tube with the gas turned on, a verdict was returned of suicide while 111 a state of mental depression. DEATH FROM LOCKJAW. HAMILTON, Oct. 29. Charles Gibson, proprietor of the AVaihou hotel, has died in hospital. Mr Gibson a few days ago stepped on -a rusty -nail, and lock-jaiv supervened.
