“Tallow-.—We quote present spot values for the following descriptions: Fine mutton, 52/3 per cwt. ; . good beef, 50/9 per cwt.; mixed, 46/6 per cwt. Market active. New Zealand dairy produce.—Butter. —Choicest salted, 226/- to ,228/per cwt.; cheese, 92/-. to 95/- per cwt. Market ouiet but firm.”
