Sultan of INeid, has telegraphed 'to the Moslem Supremo Loaned. who offered to mediate between Isbnsand and Hedjaz, saying that lie was grieved the mediation that during the last seven years Ibnhad arrived too late, and declaring sand has done his utmost to conciliate Hussein and attain peace and concord, but vaily. Hussein’s attitude became more haughty and more obstinate. His proclamation proved that ho was aiming.cat the disruption cf Ibnsand* 5 territory. Hussein, during six years, pi evented Wahabis pilgrimaging to Mecca. Ihnsand was unable to maintain the security of .Mecca and Medina, and guarantee, the* safety of Moslem pilgrims. The Wahabis* solo purpose was to tranquilise the situation at Hedjaz. and ensure the future of their country. They desired the administration of Hedjaz, which would guarantee the rights of all Moslems, provide comfort for pilgrims and remove all injustices and grievances.—Reuter.
