Word was received on Saturday that Air .1. Town lev had been reappointed Government representative on the Gisborne Fire Board.
.Air Con. Noonan is retiring from the management oi the Ormond Hotel, which be has conducted for the past sixteen vears. Die friends have decided to tender him a complimentary social evening in tne Ormond Hall on Wednesday evening next. A big attendance is anticipated us Air Neenan is so widely known throughout the district.
