Tarawera, of the Union S.S. Co., did not leave that port till 3.25 yesterday morning. The steamer arrived at Napier, late last night, and worked cargo alt night. t-lie is expected to arrive in ’Gisborne before mid-day today. Two tenders, will he run, one on anivai and one at ]2 noon, ami tlie steamer will leave later lor A e.e:;lar.d, via Tokomaru. Richardson and Co.'s Hippie ,s expected to-day from Wellington and -V-pier with a general cargo. 'J'he Ripple will sail later for Wellington direct. 1 lie Union S.S. Co.’s Paloona loaves Auckland at 12 o'clock to-day, and will arrive in Gisborne about noon to-morrow, after tailing at Tokomaru. Two tenders will' he run, one on the arrival of the vessel, and at 6.45 p.m. The vessel will leave about 10 p.m. for Napier and Southern ports. The S.S. Rosamond, of the Union Co., will leave Auckland to-day at 12 o'clock for Tologa Hay. After discharging cargo at Tologa, the Rosamond will proceed on to Gisborne, arriving in this port on Monday. She will probably leave for Napier about midnight, and will then return to Auckland direct. Richardson and Co.’s s.s. Mako will arrive in Gisborne to-morrow night from Auckland and Coast hays. After working Gisborne she will leave for Napier on Monday night, thence returning to Auckland via Coast bays. The Blackball Co.'s Ngatoro was expected to arrive about Thursday from Groymouth, but word has been received that the s.s. Xgalierc will take the trip instead of the Ngatoro. The Xgalierc left Greyinouth yesterday and will proceed to Tokomaru, arriving there on 'Tuesday. Gisborne will be visited on Thursday, and later the Xgalierc will" sail for Napier anti oOlltll. R.M.S. Tainui, of the Chaw, SavilJ and Albion Line, which is due to arrive iu Wellington on July 30th from London, sailed with the following New Zealand passengers aboard: —Misses M. Ansell, E. Ansell and J. Middleton, Mesdainos Ansell, Middleton and Somerville, Masters Somerville and Ansell (2), Messrs Middleton and •Somerville. The Union Co.’s Karamu is expected to arrive to-morrow from South, with a general cargo. The Union Co.'s Wanaka will arrive from South to-morrow at about noon, and will lie tendered on arriv: il. She will sail later in the day for Tokomaru and Auckland.

WELLINGTON, July 23.—Arrived Friday: Maori, <5.50 a.m., from Lyttelton: Victoria, 7 a.m., from Lyttelton; Kaimena, 12.25 p.m., Irom Lyttelton. Sailed: Maitai, 12.55 a.m., for San Francisco; Tarawera. 3.25 a.m., for East Coast and Auckland; Arahura, 1 p.m., for Picton and Nelson ; Maori, 7.50 p.m., for Lyttelton. Kaiapoi, 13.45 p.m., for Westport; Somerset, 7.15 p.m., for Nelson, Lyttelton and Dunedin; Victoria, 8.35 p.m., for Lyttelton and Dunedin; Corinna, 8.50 p.m., for Nelson and New Plymouth.
