WHAT AYE HAVE DONE. NEARLY 20,000 MEN SENT AAVAY. By Telegraph—Special Correspondent WELLINGTON, July 23. New Zealand has despatched on active service in tins war 10,888 men and there are about 7000 men in camp undergoing training. 'The number despatched includes the Samoan Force of 1419 men- and, as some of these men have gone forward to join the New’ Zealand section of the Mediterranean Expeditionary Force, those men have been counted twice in the total. It afeo includes the Afaori Expeditionary Force and the British section, made up of 399 New Zealanders resident m England at the outbreak of the war. Approximately, therefore, New Zealand has mobilised for active service about 26,000 men.
