Kahu left at 2 a.in. yesterday for Auckland and all the Coast bays north of Waipiro.
Tlu* Huddart-Parker’s s.s. Victoria from Auckland arrived later than was expected yesterday, and consequently only one launch was run, at 7.30 pan. There was a large number of outward passengers.
The s.s. Paloona, of the Union Co., arrived in port- from south at 4.10 a.m. yesterday and was tendered at (> a.in. and 10 a.m., and departed at 11 o’clock for Tokomaru and Auckland. She will return to Gisborne on her southward trip on Sunday next.
Richardson Co.’s Ripolo is not expected in Gisborne till Saturday next, owing to delay in Wellington. The s.s. Mako, of the same company, is expected her on Sunday morning form tite north. The Union s.s. Co.’s Tarawera left Dunedin at 3 p.m. on Tuesday and will arrive ip Gisborne on Saturday morning. '
Messrs Richardson and Co.’s Rum arrived late last night from Tologa and Tokomaru, and will sail to-day for Napier.
