MFETING OF EXECUTIVE
At last night's mooting of tlio executive of the Hockey Association there wore ]>resent: Messrs Buseke (chairman), Olsen, McDouga'l. Eton, Lucas, M iliie, Oassin, and Moses. A great amount of routine business was disposed l of. Mr Olsen reported that there /was a strong possibility of a team from Opotiki Association inviting them to tary was instructed to write to the Opotiki Association inviting them to visit here. Mr Moses was unanimously appointed sole selector for men’s teams for the year, while Mr Olsen was appointed to a similar position for ladies’ teams. The following fixtures were approved for this week’s matches. —Thursday.United v. Star, No. 3 ground at ,‘i p.m. Referees, Messrs Grant and Armstrong. Allies v. To Rata, No. 1 ground, ..ii- Moses. / -- High School R v. Kin Toa. N<>. 2 ground. Mr Cassia. —Saturday.— Mercantile v. West kind A, No. 3 grontfd at 3 ]>.m. Referees. Messrs Olsdp and fcjouudy.
