Present indications are f<jr nortlierly and westerly gales, the barometer falling everywhere. Expect stormy conditions, with rain, generally; snow in the high- country, and heavy rain with flooded rivers in the West Coast and southernmost districts of the South Island. Unsettled weather is likely to rule for several days.
