Sir Joseph J. Thomson (Professor of Physics at the Royal Institution, London)’, Sir Charles A. Parsons (chairman of the .Parsons .Marine Turbine Company. Parsons Foreign Patents Co., Ltd., etc.), and Mr George T. Beilby (who was a member of the Royal Commission on Fuel and Engines for the- Navy in 1912) will form Lord Fisher’s Naval Inventions Committee, and twelve prominent scientists, including Professor H. I.L Baker, Professor Sir William Crookes, Professor Bertram ! fepkinson. Sir Oliver Lodge, Professor Ernest Rutherford (of New Zealand), and Professor It. J. Strutt-, .will form a Panel of Consultants.
