Beilby (who was a member of the Royal Commission on Fuel and Engines for the- Navy in 1912) will form Lord Fisher’s Naval Inventions Committee, and twelve prominent scientists, including Professor H. I.L Baker, Professor Sir William Crookes, Professor Bertram ! fepkinson. Sir Oliver Lodge, Professor Ernest Rutherford (of New Zealand), and Professor It. J. Strutt-, .will form a Panel of Consultants.
