Two of the deaths were due to c-erebro-spinai meningitis, and the third is stated to be attributable to a complication following measles- The men concerned were- Private Herbert .James“ William- (Pictonl. Private David Booth Doggett (Knngiora). and Private Walter D. Ford (next-of-kin in England). The bodies of Williams and Doggett have been sent to the homes of the men’s parents. The remains of Ford will be- buried at Karori to-morrow with military honors. Dr. Ynliiuie.u mention, d that be had given instruct unis that -a rents or next-of-kin should be allowed to call in private medical practitioners if they were not satisfied w ith the medical attendance provided in the military hospitals. Relatives of some of the men. have been expressing a wish iu this direction.

Minor cases of measles and influenza are still being reported at. Hie new camps, hut Dr. Valintine states that the sick are all progressing favorably. The available hospital accommodation in connection with the now camps is considered to be adequate.
