The Farmers’ Conference carried a motion that the. conference, with a view of uniting f< rces t > combat Socialism and class legislation, appoint a subcommittee to draw up a lighting platform, and report on tne feasibility of framing an approver progressive policy capable of _ cementing a 1 i interests opposed to tiio present Government. A committee was appointed. A resolution was passed unanimously that none of the farmers hand over "wheat without a stnigg.o to the Government if it is decided to appropriate the coming crop. SUSPECTS OF THE SORENSEN MURDER. July 14. Two more natives have been arrested in connection with the Sorensen murder. All the suspects are now in custody. HARRY SHAM* DECLARED SANE. NEW YORK July 14. A jury found that- Harry oaaw was sane. -Tne question of his recommittal to Matteawan asylum was reserved.
