Cniler the agreement reached between th<' Sliecpmvnovs’ Federation and tin 1 Shearers I'mon, the'following minimum rates oi pay were fixed: —- Prossers and wool rollers engaged by the week 33s weekly, when not engaged by the week Is 2d per hour; ail other shed hands 32s 6d weekly, or Is Id per hour; cooks 40s weekly: cooks assistants 32s 6d. The employer is to provide rations or pay 15s per week additional. 31 r E. 3loss has been appointed as the representative of the New Zealand Sheepowners’ and farmers Federation oil the advisory hoard of the New Zealand Employers’ Federation, and 3lessrs H. D. 3ravasour and H. 3lorrison as representatives to attend the annual meeting of that body.
