GRANTING OF PERMITS
'WELLINGTON, July 13.
At the Trotting Conference to-day the usual permits'were granted as in previous years to the following ’Trotting Chibs:—
Metropolitan, August 9, 11 and 13; Auckland, October 20, and 23; Kaikoura, October 25; Oatnaru, October 25; Greyinouth, October 25 and 28; Now Zealand Metropolitan, November 9, 11, 12Otahulm, November 17 and -20; Martinborough, November 19; limngahua, November 24; Embury Parle/ November 2 Band 27 : Win ton, December 1; New Brighton, December 10 and 18; Gore, December 27; Westport, December 27; Auckland, December 28, 29 and. 31; Canterbury Park, January 1 and 3; Greymouth, January 3 and 4; llutt Valley, January 27 and 29; Poverty Bay, February 4; Nelson, February 9; New Zealand Metropolitan, February 12; Manawatu, February 19; Wanganui, February 25 and 28; South Canterbury, March. 2; Auckland, April 5 and 8; Waimate Plains, April 2-1 : Now Zealand Metropolitan, April 20 and 29; Westland, April 27; Forbury Park, May 11-and 1.3; New Brighton, May 18 and 20; Canterbury Bark, June 1 and 3'; South W’airarapn, June 3; Ashburton, June 8; Waikato, June 24.
The Otahulm Club, which claimed February 23 and 20 is to’be asked to hold its meeting a fortnight- later, and the Southland Club is to select another date than April 22. It was resolved that the next conference he held at Wellington in twelve months time.
