HENRI FRENCH.
A VERSATILE ENTERTAINER. Speaking of Henri French, the European sensation, who opens at His Majesty’s Theatre to-morrow night, the “Sydney Morning Herald’’ says: —"Mr. Hugh, D. Mclntosh, the manager or Sydney Tivoli Theatre,, has provided on excellent bill for t.vis week. Tlie great Henri French gave an excellent and interesting 'entertainment. He attempts character, juggling, roller skating on wheels. His impersonations were .remarkably fine, among them Dr. Jekyll and Mr Hyde, Franz von Suppo, Franz Liszt at 70. Mons is a young man, and remarkably good looking. Ho uses very little-make-up in this impersonation of the great Liszt, but the resemblance was wonderful. He next- gave an impersonation of a contemporary French bandmaster, who imbibes rather freely at times, wliicli was very ludicrous-. His work is very high-class and will appeal to all who enjoy and appreciate a real artist.”
