FOREST FIRES IN GERMANY.
GREAT CONFLAORATION RAGING.
(United Press Association—Copyright J (Received Julv 12. 11.10 p.m.) AMSTERDAM, -July 12. The ‘'Tageblatt” states that a great turf lire- is raging in Scheweges. near Oshabrueck, and already 10,000 tons of turf have been destroyed. Forest fires extending over many kilometres are burning between a itmohenau and Zeisholz in Saxony, nd several villages are threatened. - ’-e inhabitants have- evacuated them. A forest belonging to the Conventof Alorgenstern was completely destroyed. The military engaged in Irene \- digging have been sent to fight vie conflagration.
