At the wool sale merinos 'wore linn There was good competition for stylish crossbreds, but shabbier were slow and prices were irregular and in buyers’ favor. The following prices were realised for the fleece portions ’of the clips named:—Okare, top price I6d, average price 15d; Walter Peak 32d and 29,Vd ; Okirae 18Jd and 17d ; Taradalo 16d aiul 15|d. The Bradford market is quieter. There is fair inquiry for early delivery. Prices are firm and unchanged. AGENTS REPORTS. The New Zealand Loa.n and- Alorcantilo Agency Co., Ltd., are in receipt of the following cable from their London office:—“London wool sales: Hotter market, ..-higher than 20th MayAl'erino, superior, medium, 1(.) per cent to 15 nor cent; inferior, 5 to If) per cent; Jambs, 5 per cent; crossbred, line, greasy, J(J per cent : coarser and scoured, 5 to 71 per cent; greasy lambs, 5 per cent; slipe combing and lambs, par to 5 per cent.; short J2-J per cent.” WELLINGTON C!!IUTC'HIX GS ’ SALE. SYDNEY SHEEP SAT.LS. (United Press Association—Copyright.) (Received Julv 9, 9.15 p.m.) SYDNEY, July 9. The sheep sales have closed. The Now Zealand and Australian Land Company paid 160 guineas for a Mavihih merino stud ram. Mr Coulter, of Blenheim, bought 16 stud owes at twelve guineas each, the best sale of ewes recorded.
