WEDDING.

ROBSON—JOBSON. A very pretty wedding took place at the Matawhero Presbyterian Church on Wednesday last, in the presence of a large number of friends of the contracting parties, when Amy, fifth daughter oi : William Jobson. of Papamii, Matawhero, was united in the holy bonds of matrimony to Anthony, third son of Mr M. Robson, or •Snapdough, Northumberland, England. The Rev. Mr Wheeldon was the officiating minister. The bride looked charming in a beautiful gown of white charmeuse, with tunic of lace. The usual veil was worn, with wreath of orange blossoms, and an exquisite shower bouquet completed a very dainty toilet. Hie bridesmaids were Miss Dora Jobson, sister of the bride, who wore white crepe de chine with touches of pale pink, and the bride’s two little nieces, Alary and Amy Reeves, in white crepe do chine and pale blue. Air P. J. Parker acted as best man. After the ceremony a reception was held at the residence of the bride’s parents. Airs Jobson, mother of the bride, wore black silk, and carried a bouquet ot pink roses. Airs James Reeves, sister of the bride, wore a smart grey costunic, with a hat of purple velvet. Tile young couple, who were made the recipients of a large' number of beautiful and costly wedding presents, loft for their future home at Poukawa, Hastings, by Wednesday night’s steamer.
