A Press Association telegram from Napier states that mt a meeting of the Board of Governors yesterday, the resignation of Miss Spencer head mistress of the Napier Girls High School, was accepted with great regret. -H-W 1 appreciation was expressed or her seiyices on the school staff during the period of seventeen years, and it was resolved that she be given at the- termination of - her engagement throe months’ leave of absence on full pay. It was explained that Miss Spencer had resigned because she was giving up the teaching profession. . A Press Assocation telegram states that Mr. W. TToffeyof Fcildmg was last night appointed director or t-lio Napier Technical School.
