MR. CLARKSON’S BODY RECOVERED. [Per Press Association.] NAPIER. April 6. Mr. Clarkson’s body was recovered from the surf this morning. It was terribH® disfigured. THE INQUEST. NAPIER. April 6. Mr. S. E. McCarthy. Coroner, today conducted an inquiry into the death of Mr. R. P. Clarkson, and found that he was accidentally drowned on the beach, and that all reasonable - efforts were made to prevent the death of the deceased and to recover the body. IJie Coroner added a rider condemning the practice of some persons' in feigning drowning, which had been partly responsible for the present fatality.
