LIEUTENANT SHACKLETON'S LECTURE. RECORD DEMAND FOR SEATS. [Per Press Association.] CHRISTCHURCH, April 5. The booking of seats in connection with. Lieutenant’s Shaekleton’s lecture in His Majesty’s Theatre on W ednesday next easily constitutes a record. In a quarter of an hour alter the opening of plans for reserved seats in the dress circle and orchestral stalls every one of the latter and all hut two or throe oi the former luul boon hooked . I here every probability, as the sale of unreserved tickets is unprecedentedly .large, of an overflowing audience on the occasion. Tin 1 lecture will be illustrated by limelight lantern photographs, taken bv members of tbe expedition during their sojourn.in; Antarctica. ;
