RETIREMENT OF AN OTAGO INSPECTOR. (Press Association.) DUNEDIN, Jim. 29. At the meeting of the Education Board, Mr. Fitzgerald, inspector, who has been in the service of the Board as teacher and inspector sinefc its inception, ‘and who, prior to that, was in Hie service of the Provincial Executive, tendered his resignation. Complimentary references were made to Air. Fitzgerald's services, and the Board decided to accept his resignation and grant Air. Fitzgerald six months’ leave of absence from date, on full pay.
