PBEMIEIB’iS TELEGRAM TO HIGH COMMISSIONER. [Press Association.] NAPIER, Jian 28. The Premier to-day despatched tile following cablegram to tlio -High Commissioner: “Meat companies here state they are advised that the importation of frozen kidneys and other frozen offal into the United Kingdom has been prohibited. Kindly see Homo Government and point out that this would be a. very serious miat-tcly-and a handicap to New Zealand trade. As the whole business i« glider inspection here,' there would he .no justification for such a course with respect to New Zealand. It is genemlly regarded as most unfriendly towards the Dominion, and before anyi action of the kind -is taken I think as the matter is of great importance, Ifull' information should be furnished to the,'Government, and in cases where current contracts or shipments afloat are concerned, these should rtjo exempted until ci settlement. Tho matter is a very important one, -and ,1 should be glad if you will give it immediate 'attention.
